Last updated: January 15, 2024

Table of Contents

1. Our Commitment

Keystone National Bank is committed to ensuring that our website, mobile applications, and all digital banking services are accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe every customer deserves equal access to financial services and information.

Our accessibility efforts are guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). We continuously work to improve the accessibility of our digital platforms and welcome feedback from our users.

2. Conformance Status

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.

Partially Conformant

Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to achieve full conformance.

We conduct regular accessibility audits using automated tools (Axe, Lighthouse) and manual testing with assistive technologies. Our most recent comprehensive audit was completed in December 2023.

3. Accessibility Features

Our website and digital banking services include the following accessibility features:

Keyboard Navigation

All website content and banking features can be accessed and operated using only a keyboard. Tab order follows a logical sequence.

Screen Reader Support

Semantic HTML, ARIA landmarks, and descriptive labels ensure compatibility with screen readers including JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.

Color Contrast

All text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios of at least 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.

Form Accessibility

All form fields include associated labels, clear error messages, and real-time validation feedback accessible to assistive technologies.

Responsive Design

Our website is fully responsive and supports up to 200% zoom without loss of content or functionality, supporting users with low vision.

Alternative Text

All meaningful images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked appropriately to be ignored by screen readers.

4. Known Limitations

We are aware of the following accessibility issues and are actively working to resolve them:

  • PDF Documents: Some older PDF statements may not be fully accessible. We are working to provide accessible HTML alternatives for all financial documents.
  • Third-Party Integrations: Certain embedded maps and social media widgets may not meet full WCAG compliance. We provide alternative access methods where possible.
  • Video Content: Some archived video content may lack closed captions. All new video content includes accurate captions and audio descriptions.
  • Data Visualization: Some interactive charts and graphs may have limited screen reader support. We are implementing text-based alternatives for all data visualizations.

5. Assistive Technology Compatibility

We test our website and online banking platform with the following assistive technologies:
